Hello Foodies

This is not yet another blog where someone is trying to show off what they know or what they have achieved.
This is a space for friends to discuss about food and food and only food.

It could be anything from just an ordinary omlette that we make at home to a fine cuisine.

I work in the IT sector and do realize that we hardly get time to eat what we want, preparing the food that we really crave for feels like a deadly task. Especially most os us live away from home and after all that hard work in the office we just want to sit back and relax. A huge chunk of us live in apartments with facilities but sometimes due to time constraint or due to mental tiredness we hardly make use of these facilities.

Cooking seems like a huge task but if you are a foodie like me then lets just take some time to prepare some yummy mouth watering and very important easy to make dishes.

I will call them 10 minute munchies.

So lets start with something that we always have at home…. Bread.

Recipe for two foodies:
Ingredients :
8 slices of bread
6 tbsp of sugar (tbsp – table spoon)
1 egg
1.5 cup of hot milk
1 tsp oil (tsp – teaspoon)

1. Take a flat bowl and add 6 tbsp of sugar. Add one egg and mix it well.
2. Pour a cup and a half of hot milk and mix it well.
3. Now take a tava and coat it with a tsp of oil.
4. Once the tava is hot, immerse each bread slice in the milk mixture and roast it.
5. Leave it for 2 minutes and then flip it to roast the other side.
6. Have this with a cup of hot coffee or tea and you will be feeling full for atleast a couple of hours.
